I liked the idea of a mini caplet....a "quart"er caplet you might say:) If I made another one in blue and white I could call it the blueberry quart caplet. Cute. The dress is as simple as they come, hence the name. No frills, no bright colors, no straps. I thought it looked like something one might wear while sailing. Crisp, white, bright and summery. I made a matching white handkerchief hair piece.
I'd say, since it is so small this little caplet can fit toddlers 1-4.
*And if the winning blog also posts a comment I'll throw in the matching handkerchief hair tie.*
The winner will be announced Friday morning! Last date for posts is Wednesday. I will probably start another raffle before then so keep checking in!
In reference to Meg's question,
Yes. In order to be in the raffle please link to the specific post. And yes, it is okay if you don't use blogger. You won't be able to use the "Create a Link" link at the bottom of the page but I can still see if you posted a link by using Technorati.
I only ask that you link the specific post because if I have more than one raffle going on I might get posters confused. Having them link to the post and not the blog makes things more clear.
****However, since I might have confused a few posters with my previous post, I will also include links to the previous post in the caplet raffle as well.****
I know it's a little confusing. If anyone has any questions please let me know. I'll answer them all in this post. I really don't want anyone excluded who wanted to be in.
I only wish I had more time to make more for all of you. Your compliments and readership make this worthwhile for me! Good Luck!

Oh STOP IT. This is painfully adorable!!
I'm going to let someone with a little girl win...but trust me, you better start making clothes to sell soon, 'cause if I have a girl, it's all over!!
sorry, I'm still a little confused. in order to be in the raffle we should post a link to a specific post on our blog? I don't use blogger, is that okay? the caplet is cute as buttons.
Alright, I added a little link and blurb on my blog, Knitty Bitties, sharing your creative works of art with my readers!
I've enjoyed seeing all of the marvelous creations you've come up with and you've made me dream of a day with a little girl in (not that I don't love my little guy with all of my heart) my life to sew such beauties for.
Thanks for your sweet sharing!!

This is just too cute for words. I linked to your blog, and I am praying I win because my little Olivia just NEEDS to have that caplet and head scarf. And she needs the dress because that is just the sweetest, simplest little dress I've ever seen. Are you going to make the dress to sell? You really should, because I'd buy it.
This is how I wanted to dress as a child... like a fairy book princess. My daughter would swoon!
Oh This is gorgeous!!! I have entered your link on my blog. I would so love to see my girlfriends daughter in this. So fairytale!
Your raffle idea is such a good one! I'm not sure how many times I can say how cute your dresses/accessories are. You are so inspiring. I don't think I thanked you for your link to my blog. Thank you, thank you. Keep up the good work!-Amy

Oh my goodness, This is the cutest thing I have seen in a while! My little girl would look so cute in it. She actually has 2 little white dresses that would match perfectly. I love your blog and will be linking to it on my own blogs!
So, I'm dying to ask. Are you a self-taught seamstress, or what? Your stuff is mind-bogglingly amazing!
In answer to a.,
Yes. I did teach myself. I learned how to threat and use a sewing machine in junior high. My mother also had a sewing machine in her house that I used once or twice in high school. However, I started really sewing in college. I just went out and bought a pattern one day and worked my way through it. And by 'worked' I mean 'worked'. Those things look like they might as well read in Japanese. I sewed a lot of my own clothes in college just because I was short on money and really longed for some things I could not afford (hence my stint with abercrombie and fitch but that's another story). Then for a couple years after college I sort of stopped sewing clothes and mostly stuck to curtains, slipcovers and Halloween costumes. Then around January, I was having coffee with a friend who asked if I sewed. I had been reading a couple sewing blogs and all of sudden I just had this surge of inspiration. I said, yes, I do....and after that I went home and actually started *really* sewing again. Only this time, for my girls, which is so much more rewarding for me. I started this blog to journal my work and the rest is history. Soo, short story long, I am self taught and thank you for your lovely compliments! I have to add however, that my skills need improvement. I am learning things on my own so it's by no means perfect. But then again, that's part of what makes it one of a kind. When something is handmade, there's no other quite like it. Mistakes and all:)
I love your site and your eye. Your way with ruffles is too cute. It's all very inspiring. I linked to you from toastneggs.blogspot.com., where I post my own newly rediscovered sewing and crafty/arty ventures. Thanks!
I linked, but it's not showing up on your list. My daughter's 3rd bday is coming up...if I don't win, I'll have to attempt to make it! She'd adore this!
