I opened up my mailbox two weeks ago to a very happy surprise! Grosgrain had been prominently featured in the new issue of Artful Blogging Magazine! Lily herself was on the top front cover.I thought she'd get a kick out of this so I took her over to Barnes and Noble and showed her the magazine. She ambivalently sighed. Then excited, seized the pink Sparkle World magazine with Strawberry Shortcake on the cover.
Oh to be four again....
If you're ever at Borders or Barnes and Noble this summer please check it out! It's in the sewing/ crafts section of the magazine racks.

Oh that i9s too funny! Just wait, when she's just an0oterh year or two older she'll love it. On my daughter's 7th birthday my blog post about us hoop dancing was featured on the front webpage of Hooping.org and she thought it was special, just for her birthday. She was exstatic and I didn't tell the webmaster just happened to put her up on her birthday and that a picture of her just happened to be what I put up on my blog that day. Save the magazine, someday she'll have it framed.

My sister-in-law bought me this magazine because she knows how much I love to blogging & photography. I have yet to really get into the "artful blog" circle as I just jumped into blogging a few months ago and have been in the "decorating/French blog" circle. Your blog is one of my favorites in the magazine. My mother is a seamstress and during our Mother's Day call, I told her about Grosgrain and described some of your creations to her.
