Yes, as you might have concluded, my fabulous surprise is a Shabby Apple Marseilles Dress, direct from Shabby Apple in any size you like! Valued at $86.
As a mother, I often want my clothes to look feminine but not skimpy. When looking for dresses, that can be a thin line, which is why I fell in love with the designs Shabby Apple offers.
I think you will feel the same when you look at all their flirty yet modest women's dresses. Oh and of course, you must also check out their simply adorable baby line and stylish maternity line.
To my excitement, they agreed to do a guest giveaway with Grosgrain! The winner of this giveaway will receive the Marseilles dress (my favorite) featured above, right and below, in any size of their choice.
For those of you who don't want to wait for your fabulous dress, Shabby Apple is also offering a 15% off coupon to all Grosgrain readers! Use the code grosgrainfabulous15off. With their already reasonable prices it's a little hard not to pass up.
The Marseilles dress is a blue striped faux-wrap dress. It has two pockets on the chest and a large shirt collar. A tie threads through a hole at waist the waist of the dress, cinching the waistline. The dress' skirt has no opening and has five inset panels to make a full swing skirt.
The dress is made from french blue stretch cotton poplin with multi-colored stripes. To care for this dress, machine wash cold, delicate cycle. Lay dress flat to dry. DRESS FITS GENEROUSLY. (about one size larger than our 'Fits True to Size' dresses)
Shabby Apple welcomes you to great dresses that make dressing simple. After years of not being able to find stylish dresses that covered enough skin to make you really feel comfortable (without wearing a tank top, cardigan or long slip), owners Emily and CK decided to do something about it.
They visited trade shows, marketplaces and designer studios only to discover the problem was not that department stores weren't buying the right dresses, but that designers weren't designing them.
We at Shabby Apple Dresses love to help women dress but are also commited to helping women live as well. Thus we are supporting the fight against global poverty by partnering with Unitus-a non-profit organization that accelerates access to life-changing financial services for those at the bottom of the economic pyramid.
Shabby Apple donates 5% of its net dress sales to support work in India (where Shabby Apple Dresses sources many of its dresses the textiles used to manufacture its dresses). In addition, each Shabby Apple Dresses customer has the opportunity to donote an extra five dollars to Unitus every time she buys a dress.
Shabby Apple Dresses and Unitus are involved with 10 of India's most promising microfinance organizations that provide financial services to more than 1.6 million hard-working women and their families.
Shabby Apple is proud to offer you fantastic dresses that allow you to look fabulous, without having to compromise anything else. A return to what dresses were always meant to be-- a one-piece outfit. No need to add anything...no tank tops, no cardigans, nothing (except accessories, of course!)
