What ban.do is right for you?
October 13, 2009
Answer: All of them.
I have to admit Ban.do's new black label stock is DIVINE! I know I go on and on about DIY and budget blah blah blah but a part of me would like to wear one of these without having to use a squirt of hot glue. (That being said, I could totally make one of these:P) Though probably not as well polished.
My personal favorite is just fantastic. It's the one pictured second from top left. Could I get away with it at the grocery store? Probably not. A wedding? Maybe. A Vogue cover shoot? Yes.
On a separate note, I really need to get a black paper background, it really looks dramatic doesn't it?
I should be posting my first 'official' Halloween costume(s) giveaway tomorrow so please check back then. I'm so EXCITED my stomach is feeling full of butterflies. I don't want to give too much away but for now I will urge you to think....rabbit hole....

Are you doing Alice in Wonderland?! That would be cute!
Those are very cute! I think my favorite would be the third one and the one with the bow. Very elegant and pretty. No way could you get away with it at the grocery store unless you want IMMATURE people pointing and staring at it (that's just because they wouldn't know the meaning of fashion):P But I think they are soooo pretty!

Don't you sometimes wish you "could" carry that sort of thing off at the grocery store?! Very pretty! I was also wondering where one would get a black paper background?

Here's a good place:

oh im so in love with all of them!! i wish i could collect them all and wear them everyday to school-- of course i would have to sit in the back of lecture so i wouldn't block anyone's views-- ; )
love them!

I have the same favorite! You're right, sometimes I wish I could look at things and just buy without saying "I could make that!" to myself. It must be liberating!
Also, a must for background drama is a deep gray. Very fashion mag :)
SO cute. I also love the first one. I say wear it to the grocery store! :]
i just did an alice in wonderland theme for my daughter's first birthday last month! so excited!!
Don't get a black paper for your background, get black velvet material. It absorbs the light and looks amazing!
I lovvvve all of them!! I live in L.A. so I could wear them anywhere! lol.
xoxo,
monique
