A Yudu Machine,
One-Yard Wonders and a bias tape machine.....
One Christmas I fell in love with the idea of making Brian 'Days of the Week' ties with pictures of animals in white paint. I found the idea in Readymade magazine, long, long ago.
The catch was that you needed a Gocco machine. I had never heard of one of these at the time but it intrigued me. To my disappointment they were about $200. So the ties were out. I ended up trying to make a paper stencil of each animal but it didn't look nearly as good as the pictures in the magazine.
Then recently I came across this wonderful machine that works like a Gocco only larger like a flatbed scanner.
You can make all sorts of amazing one of a kind gifts. Totes, tee shirts, ties, obviously the list goes on and on.

I was watching the infomercial about it today. Looks like it would be alot of fun!
I got a yudu for my graduation present ! I love it :) It takes a while to get the image burnt but once you do you can use it over and over again :) I am getting a couple of new screens for Christmas so I can have a couple of images going at once ! It takes some practice but it's so much fun!
And it still costs about $200 but at least they are still making supplies for this system (poor gocco!).
