Iron seam. Do again for other sleeve. If you are using knit you could either leave it raw and cut off a half an inch or if you have a serger, cut off a half and inch and serge the edge.

4. Hem bottom of skirt by folding over 1/2" and sew with a zigzag stitch. Trim extra allowance.
Okay, now if you are one of the lucky few who don't have to worry about keeping your neckline in check 24/7 then believe it or not, you are done! Go wear your frock a WHOLE day early! Lucky you. And be sure to post to Grosgrain flickr.
But if you're like me, I'll go over some tips tomorrow to help minimize the amount of cleavage shown with this particular frock.

This might be a dumb question but how do you iron and sew sleeve edges and keep them as a curve?

I use my fingertip while I'm ironing and press out which sort of stretches it a bit. It should only be 1/4" of an inch which helps to keep it from folding.
Done! I'm taking it to the beach this weekend so I'll take pictures there and post them on Monday.

One question, if i wanted to make it with straps just little straps rather than sleeves next time, how would you reccomend that i attach the straps...usually when i do something like that there is a facing so i stick the strap in there and sew it down that way....any ideas on the neatest way to do it on this dress?????
