Vivat Veritas $50 Guest Giveaway

I have a new favorite designer on etsy. Vivat Veritas. I wish she lived closer so we could be best friends;)


Her designs are young, hip and elegant. And the backs of her dresses are to die for! Not to mention her prices which are surprisingly affordable for handmade items!

Chie Duncan, the designer behind Vivat Veritas, is a Japanese Seamstress based out of Philadelphia PA. Fashion and sewing were just a hobby started when a friend lent her a basic sewing machine to make a few odds and ends (pillow cases and whatnot). 


Over the next few months she started making clothes and could not stop sewing. She personally designs all items found in her shop and takes pride in making each piece by hand.

Some of her items here are order made, and some are ready to be shipped. If you see any item that you like, but the size doesn't fit you, please contact her. She can make one that's fitted to you (same fabric might not be available). Chie will also make bride's maid dresses.

Please note that 10% of the profit will be donated to the Christian ministry in Thailand, where they help women who were forced into prostitution.
