'Spring on a Stick' Frock Grosgrain Giveaway

To celebrate last Sunday I created a "Spring Frock".

I used an embellished fabric from JoAnn's. It has swirls of bias cut raw edge strips entangling the surface. The skirt has a 'peg' shape to it. The top has a cowl neck and the sleeves are side gathered (which I've never done before).

Stay tuned tomorrow morning for the link to the tutorial on how to do the braided top bun. I prefer the messier look but my hair is so long now that it's tricky to pull that off. I don't have as many short wispy strands. 
I wore that hairstyle to 'Red Lobster' (my mother's favorite eatery) last night when we took her out for her birthday. I went back out to the car to get Eloise a blanket and someone getting into their car saw me and complimented it. So....that was nice.
