It's been a while since I did a shoe redo. But I wanted to share with you how to make your shoes laceless which turned into an entire shoe redo project. If all you want to do is remove laces then do step 4. But if you have a boring pair of bobos sitting around your house and would like to make them look totally beach worthy. Check out this post! Took about 1 hour to complete.
Step 1. Find an old pair of plain white bobos
Step 2. Remove laces
Step 3. Take brown double folded bias tape or leather stripping and hot glue to seams
Step 4. Hand sew elastic to shoe. Use 1" wide elastic 4" long. Sew from one side to the other.
Step 5. Tape seam between sole and shoe.
Step 6. Spray sole brown.

OMGosh! So did I! I mean, I knew I didn't write boobs but I loaded the page and for a second I was like "whoa, what did I write?! Oh yeah. Bobos." Guess we have boobs on the brain:P
I found this blog for my professional purposes (finding good sewing product ideas and reviews from good bloggers) but I am taking this idea for my personal life. Amazing. Also going to follow professionally and personally. That's when you know your blog is amazing. Thank you!

Awesome tutorial! I'm having a hard time finding laceless Converse sneakers so I'm going to give this a try. Question - do you sew the garter onto the tongue, or just to the sides of the shoe? Thanks!
