I'm starting a new series. Cute Cheap Dress of the Week. It seems every week I'm scouring the internet for a good deal on a dress that won't break my bank.
Don't get me wrong, I love, love, LOVE a good thrift store find but sometimes I like to shop at a real store with new inventory and still get a good deal. All the dresses featured will be under $50 but I'll try to stay closer to the $25 range.
I'd pair it with a brown leather thrift store belt.

It's true, Forever 21 dresses are notoriously short. But I've bought many and they are surprisingly fine on me. But then again I'm 5'1. I think the dresses tend to look even shorter on the unusually tall models. The site says it's 32.5" from shoulder to hem. That's about where I draw the line. On me, it falls about lower thigh, 2-3" above my knee.

This is a great idea for a weekly post! I'm constantly on the hunt for a cheap find, and do enjoy the feeling of buying something crisp and new too, even though I love thrifting! Looking forward to seeing what else you can find. x
So cute, but yeah, it would definitely be a shirt on my 5'9" frame. I can't wait to see more cute cheap dress finds!
