Okay, even if you didn't have enough hair to pull of a look like this you could always insert a clip in extension to the underside of the back of your head and, voila, instant Rapunzel.

@Kitty KanzashiIt looks like she made three braids and then braided them all together.
I always wanted to do that as a child...
at first i thought it was a basketweave braid, which is RIDICULOUSLY time consuming. I spent about 35 min doing one for a hair show before and it was crazy!
thanks! remembering that there are really pretty and non-childish ways to braid helps me stick with the "growing out my hair to donate" thing
i think i have at least 2 more months to go, and i always start to get really tired of my hair about this length.
