Oh my gosh! I can't wait to try this. I have chin length hair, but I'm still going to test it out! It looks super cute with the hairdband in it, without even sleeping on it and getting the curls!!
I have done this a few times now and while my hair doesn't look nearly as cute as hers when it's all rolled up, it comes out amazing! And my hair typically won't hold curl and doing it this way seems to really work well.
Thank you so much for the link! I just started experimenting with no-heat sets, and I was less than pleased with wearing rag rollers all day (dear husband wasn't too thrilled, either!). This is a cute style on it's own - brilliant. :D
HA! I did this last night and I only had a fabric headband with elastic around the back. I have shoulder length hair and my hair came out brilliant! I had to touch up some spots with my flat iron (check utube for curling hair with flat iron) but all in all, I will be using this almost on a daily basis for my stick straight hair! Thanks for sharing. :)
I came across this great tutorial a while ago and have been using it constantly. Works great for me. Funny thing is, whenever I go out with my hair in the first step curling roll I get SO MANY compliments. It cracks me up that what is essentially going out with my hair in curlers gets such a positive reaction.
I'm going to try this Sunday evening for work on Monday! I guess I could sew my own headband from a length of elastic too (as I've never seen the kind she uses in the video in my local stores).
Love this idea, it's similar to the bendy rollers I use but the results are ten times better. I really like how you could go out with the hairband in and then the next day have beautiful curls, two days worth of beautiful hair!
I love this! I've been watching no-heat curl tutorials but they all have perfect hair to begin with and I never felt like my hair could pull it off, but this is truly inspired! I'm going to try it when I go out tonight!
I tried this yesterday and it worked pretty well. :)
I was having trouble with keeping the curls tight in the band though, any ideas on how to fix that? The curls turned out like soft waves though, which still looked really good. :)
I showered and put my hair up in the hairband as directed, I will sleep on it tonight for curls tomorrow; but I got compliments all day on my hair twisted up in the headband and I had to forward this video to two people already!!

brilliant!
She's so cute, and what a great idea! Might even work for my resists-all-curling hair!
As a short haired girl very rarely do I wish it were longer, this is one of those times. Her hair looks really fantastic.
this was AWESOME! Thank you so much for this tip! Can't wait to try it out. Tomorrow, I guess.
This is amazing! Going to try it tonight! I love that you put up these tutorials! :)

Wow! Love it. I have thick frizzy hair that takes a curl "too much" sometimes. I think this might actually tame it in a nice way. Brilliant!
She is such a cutie! Thanks for sharing - such a great idea!
@Aurora
I know! That's what I thought!

i can't wait to try this--I was so inspired by reese witherspoon's curls on "water for elephans" and I think this will create a similar look.

I'm not sure why but it's telling me this video is private. Do you know how I can see it? Thanks!
It is sort of like passive income, results while you sleep! From one thick, frizzy haired lass to another, thank you.
