I know this isn't sewing related but I just had to share. I've been doing a lot of house related makeovers lately.
Look at this amazing faux granite countertop made from the existing laminate countertops.
The key is in the coating. Be sure to use a lot of polyacrylic for that granite shine. In fact, I wonder if casting resin would work better? Less coats.
