Well, we found out this morning that we will be having a .......
Boy!
This was the first thing Brian's mother and I went out and bought at Gymboree. I've never bought boy clothes before. It's a bit more challenging than girl stuff. But everyone is so excited/surprised. It's the first grandson in both of our families.

Congrats on your son!!! Our 4th and last baby is a boy after THREE girls!!! We would have, of course, been very happy with an all-daughter family, but it is SO much fun having both! I'm sure your little guy will love his older sisters :)

Yay, congratulations! I'm one of four girls, and I had a daughter first and so did my sister (we were starting to think our family COULDN'T have boys), but I gave birth to my son 8 months ago and he is so great. Boys are really fun, and totally different. Enjoy!

How exciting! I have the opposite (3 boys & a girl) and am expecting our 5th. So I understand the lack of sewing. It's hard to do the extra stuff when you're feeling yucky. I feel like having a boy is like falling in love again. Little boys are such sweethearts. : )

Congratulations! Boys are fun. After 3 girls, we finally had a boy. Definitely different. Clothes aren't quite as fun for boys, but I still find cute things. I don't know about you, but I love stripes and plaid, polos, rugbies, and oxfords shirts. I found the cutest clothes at Ralph Lauren. If I were rich I would shop there exclusively for the boy. I pretty much scoured Gymboree, Gap, and Old Navy for very specific items (in stripes). It is more work, but so fun when you find your style for your little boy. Have fun with it!

Congrats! Boys Clothing are a bit challenging as the options are limited, but with your creativity i am sure he will grow up to be style icon. I for one am biased toowards girls and fret at moms who have to handle naughty boys! Best of luck!

Yay! When I found out my first was going to be a boy I was in shock. For two days I wandered around saying "a boy? What am I going to do with a boy?!!!" then I had him and fell in LOVE (ok, so it took me about 2 months to even LIKE him - but I did eventually fall in love!)

I have 4 boys - and 2 girls - and yes, boys are soooo different from girls. But it's in a good way. A little boy will go to the ends of the earth for his mommy, and he will melt your heart.
