Just today my girls were begging me to build a blanket fort fort for them.
School's out due to massive historical flooding in the area. We live on a high hill but many, many friends and family are in the flood plain.
Other sad news: Two bison had to be shot at the local zoo because they were drowning.

Wow, I didn't realize that you live in my area. I live in Elizabethtown. My kids and I went to the zoo so many times when they were little to see the bison. IT is so sad that this happened.

didn't realized you lived in Hbg! it was very sad about the bison!!! We live north of hbg and were cut off from the city until this past Sunday. I feel so bad for all who experienced flooding in their homes!
