I have been putting off making a bedskirt for our bed for some time. Mostly because the idea of taking off the king sized mattress and foam topper is just too much to bear. But this would solve my problem AND take up less material. Also would make washing a lot easier.

i hemmed the bottom of a long piece of fabric and just safety pinned it! we pull bins out from under our bed often and it's going on 2 years and still looking great
I attached all of mine with those corkscrew things that look like upholstery tacks (can't remember what they are called!) and it's held up for 10+ years! It's so much easier to get the fit right without the flat piece.
ooh! this is how I will 'repair' my currently ripped bed skirt. So easy!
omgosh, I've been putting it off too for the exact same reasons! Thanks for sharing this!
enjoy your week!
So cute! I think my readers would love this! Would you link it up to my blog hop pretty please? www.lilywhite-designs.net
