This is just too cool! Wouldn't it make for great favors at a Harry Potter or magic themed party? You really have to scroll to the bottom to see the end result! Via MaJann.
These are AWESOME!! Well done! I am a HUGE potter fan so I'll have to try these out soon. Might make a great little gift for my book club friends :) Thanks for sharing!
I made these wands for my daughter's 11th birthday. Hard work, but totally worth it. We used wooden dowels. I wrote about it in my blog. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love this and want to try it but what are the sticks used as the wands? Chopsticks? Where can I get some that look like the ones in this picture?
Where did you purchase those chopsticks? I am having a hard time finding some that aren't extremely pointy.
AMazing idea! I didn't know where you were going with those beads
@Dana
I tried sharpening the chopsticks with a pencil sharpener and it worked out nicely!
This is too cool! I want to try it, I have to go buy the materials.

I would also love to make a Harry Potter's wand made with chopsticks. I'm a Harry Potter's fan and this should be included with my collection.
