Hey! Why hasn't anyone thought of this before?! Don't buy a bed stand. Just staple fabric to box spring and add screw in feet. Teaser images below. Get full tutorial at Urban Nest.
I love this but i have never been a fan of actual "beds" anyway. I have only ever purchased one complete bed-you know with the headboard and or footboard. I much more prefer just the rails! A pretty bedskirt or mock bedskirt-just fabric velcroed around the box spring and a nice picture, piece of art, fabric, or anything u can dream up serving as the headboard looks so much better.
