Great idea! Hang pictures from the balloon strings and position over table. Especially neat for an anniversary party or birthday party for a 50+ milestone. Via Wedding Chicks.

I tried this and the balloons fell down. Did you use photo paper to print or pictures or something lighter? My daughter would like this for her grsduation, but I haven't been able to keep the helium balloons up with the pictures on them.
I had the same problem I even used plain printer paper and put 1 picture tied to 2 12" helium balloons-no luck fell straight down! I can only assume these were taped to the ceiling!?!?!?

you would probably have to use 16" balloons, not 11"
you have to use larger balloons, 16" or 24" balloons

Just one little question : what about the lightings we can see on the picture ? Is that yyour normal lighting or did you buy special stuff and hang when will tape or something else ?

Doing for an Engagement Party next month, do you know what kind of tape they used to stick the ballon to the ceiling? Love the idea & I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun!
