Recycled Ginormo Beach Towel DIY

I hate getting sand on me when I'm wet. It's like nails on a chalkboard. Don't you just loathe when you're on your beach towel and the sand is slowly encroaching in on you. Check out My Material Life's Bountiful Beach Blanket made by sewing multiple old towels together. Great way to be less wasteful as well. 

She her tutorial on how she sewed the towels together so that they don't fray. I'm so doing this for next year. I'd make a really large one, like 10x10 where all the kids can be on one blanket at once. AND a neat idea would be to leave a hole in the center for the beach umbrella pole.
