I know this post is about a day late but I wanted to share my fantastic Mother's Day with you. I might say it was the best? Mother's Day I've had.
First off, Brian spent Saturday with his mother since she had plans on the "official" Mother's Day. Later that night, we (his parents and us) went to the drive-in for the first time this year (which I love!) I get the memory foam mattress, blankets, pillows, remove the third row and turn the second row seats around and make a little bed in the back of the minivan. Ann (Brian's mother) brought tons of snacks and the refreshment stand at the drive-in has literally anything you'd want to eat during a movie (ie homemade fries, barbecue sandwiches, funnel cake). It's cheap and it's awesome.
Then the next morning, the "official" Mother's Day, Brian gave me a pearl necklace....plus 6 months of more HBO:-P Gotta see the end of Game of Thrones;-)
Then we decided to take a walk with Lily, Molly and even Eloise to one of the waterfalls from a book Brian gave me last year (Waterfalls of the Mid-Atlantic States) that we plan on using this summer. This was the first on our list, mostly because of it's close proximity (only an hour from our home near Harrisburg).
There are about 200 falls in the book and we probably won't attempt to visit ALL of them (some of them aren't really accessible), but we'd like to visit the big ones at least.
We got lost near the beginning and honestly I gave us a 20% chance of actually finding the falls after that but I was happily surprised by the end.
If anyone in the area would like the directions by car and foot just let me know and I'll post them in the comments.
Then AFTER THAT, my mother, Lily, Molly and I went to The Melting Pot (a local fondue restaurant that's just wonderful). Sorry for the grainy photos, it's pretty dark in the restaurant and I only had my camera phone.
I think the girls like the dipping more than eating food;-P
And then we went home. Like I said, it was probably the best Mother's Day I've ever had. I feel so fortunate to have family close by to spend it with. Love you all!

Sounds like a great day! What drive in did you go to? I live in the same area as you and haven't found a good local drive in.
@Heidi VIt's called Haar's drive in. It's in Dillsburg. We love it. Here's the website if you're interested. I recommend reading the "rules" since they have strict guidelines for minivans.
