Want to save money on your wedding cake? Try this idea. Order three white iced round 3-layered cakes from the grocery store in small, medium and large. When you don't call them "wedding" cakes. They are much cheaper. Layer them from large to small. To layer a cake all you have to do is add four wooden dowels into the cake and a cardboard circle on top (both are sold at Michaels).
