I loved this boot. It retails for $245 here. But with some stretch tweed and leather buckles you could make this yourself. Sort of like a sock covering an old boot. Here's some stretch tweed on etsy. And here are some leather buckles. If you wanted a more tailored look then just go with non-stretch tweed and sew to the shape of the boot.

where are the instructions. it fine to say we can do it but I feel some kind of instructions are in order. are they lined? if so with what because there should be a little stiffness in them. is there a zipper on the inside.? Interesting project, was thinking of doing something similar myself and would love some help. thanks.
