My friend Ally of The Motley Mongoose had a baby girl in early summer. She just put the finishing touches on her nursery. I helped her make the pelmet boxes that hang above her windows. If you'd like the tutorial on those see that post here. I just wanted to post some of the darling photos from the room. Especially the woodforest creature felted mobile she made.
Love her new grey wing chair and ottman. I could hardly believe it was IKEA. STRANDMON in svanby gray.
Ally has such excellent light in this room. On the day I photographed these it was very cloudy and I thought we wouldn't get good shots but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the room and it was flooded with sunlight like always.
