As I was doing my last minute shopping Wednesday I came across one of those great affordable party dresses that make you wish it came in a maternity version.
I tell you, it looked even dreamier on the rack. All gothic ballerina. I loved, loved, loved the tulle overlay. What a great idea! Would look great for a New Year's Eve Soiree. And only $40.
I'll be keeping an eye out for more Rodarte for Target pieces in the ensuing months. Could they possibly fill the Issac Mizrahi void I've been feeling this last year? Hopefully I can wear one someday soon:)
Speaking of New Year's Eve apparel. A friend of mine is having a New Year's Eve 50s themed party! I'm so excited. For the occasion I'll be making my last maternity dress giveaway. Think Betty Draper mid-third trimester style. Something like this (to right). Look for it sometime next week!

I just wanted to let you know that I showed my boyfriends sister, who is 4 months pregnant, your maternity pants tutorial and she loved it! We ran out to the thrift store and hancocks that day and tried our hadn at making the pants. The tutorial was great and she loves her pants! I wish we had a serger like yours so the finish would have been nicer but she loved them nonetheless!
Thanks for a great tutorial!
oooo! If the dress is in that color green I may have to go and get pregnant!!
I will so e keeping a lookout on your next (maybe last) maternity dress giveaway. I am determined to win! I just started my third trimester and would love a cute treat (meaning new clothes) to make me feel pretty!
I love the Rodarte dress. I saw it in black this afternoon but I really love it in this color. So beautiful.
My husband bought me that dress for Christmas! The mustard yellow is gorgeous. Target never disappoints.
This dress is really desirable, and the colour is dreamy
