I'm gearing up to do another 'Frock by Friday™'. But I'm having trouble finding a good free graded pattern for everyone to use.
Here are the ones I've found so far:

Which one is your favorite? Do you have any free patterns that you would like me to try?

Is the first one a dress or a top? I don't think I'd like it (on me) as a dress, but if it's a top, or could be modified to be a top, I'd like it! Otherwise, i really like the 2nd and 3rd ones, too!
second or last--I like to have a sleeve.
The only one I am not a big fan of is the second one, but only because I am not sure how it falls on the body. It's hard to tell the shape. I like the thin strapped ones since they seem like simple summer dresses that can be worn to brunch or to the park with kids. The two sleeved options (fourth and fifth I think) I like because they are very stylish and can picture myself going out with friends in them. I hope you pick one that's good with a beginner-ish at sewing because I'd love to do a frock with you!
I love that McCall's one, either View B or View C. It seems like a garment that could offer lots of variation from fabric choices or additional embellishments.
Yellow Maryy (pictured) or Love in the Afternoon. Both are great summer dresses and can be modified to shirts.
Tunic Cocktail dress or the last one. I also would REALLY like to do Dots Invasion Dress at
http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/dots-invasion-dress
I like the Maryy dress (although the original version with the side zipper). There's also this free sundress pattern from Heather Ross: http://heatherross.squarespace.com/download-mendocino-sundress-pa/. Not my style but cute and simple!
I like the first two choices.
McCalls view C!!!
I like the Burda tunic/cocktail dress. It has those front bands which could be really pretty all done up.
I am all about that McCall's pattern.
I definitely like the McCall's one best. I tend to like more fitted dresses myself.
I love the 2nd and last ones!!
I like the tunic cocktail dress, I think. It looks like it could be great alone or even over skinny jeans. I definitely do not think the first one looks too flattering.
My vote goes to the marvy dress from Burda Style or the McCall's one.
I vote for the McCalls pattern! Either B or C.
I love #1 or #3. The last one is nice but is fitted like the one you just did. #2 reminds me of a night gown. I love the summery feel of 1 or 3. Whatever one you choose though, I definitely want to participate in. The last frock by friday I had found your blog half way through and was bumbed to not join in! Thanks for the fun ideas and encouragement to make these.
Love that Burda Style with German instructions (which of course I could never read). I just love dresses you can toss on in the summer with some cute sandles.
I really like the last one. The second is okay too.
I'm with Heather. I vote McCall's look B or C.
i like the tunic/cocktail dress best. its super cute :)
I loved the third and fifth dresses. Smaller straps don't work as well for the big old bra straps. I don't know if my opinion should count or not though. I'm excited to do the first Frock by Friday, but haven't had a chance to actually cut and sew it yet. So maybe I shouldn't cast any opinions around until I actually start sewing. :)
I vote for the second or last ones!
I vote the second or last. Both very cute :)
I vote the McCall's one. It's the only one I could see myself wearing.
Love the first and second ones VERY much. I can just see the second one with a cute cider belt and cowgirl boots. :) Adorable!
I vote either choice #2 or #2 or the McCalls. I can't do skinny straps with my nursing bras and I can't go braless. Trust me... it's not pretty.
I really like #2 as it seems like it has a lot of choices for parts that you could put together to make your own.
I'm looking for a pattern that will work to make my own version of this dress
http://www.downeastbasics.com/wateringcandress.aspx
and choice number two just might work!!
I like any of the McCalls ones (by a lot).
The McCall's pattern for sure!
I like the burda tunic/cocktail dress, especially the sleeves on it. 2nd choice would be the McCall pattern.
My favorite would be the yellow mary one, since it would fit my pregnant belly!
I found this website that has quite a few patterns (some a little scary) and you can download the pdf pattern per size (S,M,L)
http://m-sewing.com/patterns-catalog/women/dresses.html
I like the last one, view c.
I like the 2nd or 3rd one.
McCall's (option C) I love how it flows and there's a lot of cute things you can do with the belt part.
Hands down the tunic cocktail dress...all of the others are so shapeless!
Dominique
oj i love love love the tunic! i just found your blog and am starting the coffee date dress today! can't wait to have more projects. :)
Tunikakleider (?). THe second one.
I vote for McCalls view C. I think it's great looking.
I love the cocktail dress and the McCall's pattern at the end. The other ones not so much.
I was a big fan of the tunic cocktail dress. I don't think I would put all of the fancy embellishments on it, but just use an awesome fabric instead.
Tunic or Love in the afternoon dress....both would be perfect for summer!
Definitely the top one!!
i like the last one. or the first if it could be made longer? i did the last frock by friday and LOVED it!!! i couldn't post a pic because it doesn't fit me yet, too pregnant at this point. I might try it again with the modifications you mentioned to someone in the comments who was also pregnant. can't wait for the next one!! =)
Definitely the McCall's! I love all of the views, but especially C.
I like the McCall's version C the best. Thanks for having another sew-a-long!
The McCall's pattern is wonderful!
I think the second one. I also like sleeves. It looks like the second one would work well belted. :)
I like the last one, though I couldn't get the first one to load so not sure if I'd like it.
I like the last; I also like the Danielle at burdastyle, and have made it (quickly!) twice already. It's amazing how different a dress looks if one's long and woolen plaid and the other's short and sprigged cotton!
Love the mccall one - especially C! What a cute bow to bring the whole piece together.
The Burda tunic dress... I've been dying to find a pattern similar to the tunic in the Spring BodenUSA catalog - this is pretty close!
I vote the McCalls or the tunic/cocktail dress, this is such a great series, thanks
The 1st or 3rd! But I'm pregnant so they have to be empire waist so I can make adjustments for them to fit :)
I'm a brand new reader here (found this blog through the Selfish Seamstress) but I love the idea of a dress in a week, wit someone else doing the scheduling for me!
If it were the McCall's view C, I might actually manage to set a million and three other things aside and make a dress....!
Have you seen these:
http://www.bernina.com/3Series/DE/pattern.html
I vote for the McCall's pattern
McCall's!
I vote for the last one- the McCall's pattern for sure.
I am still bummed though... I haven't finished my original frock friday dress. :( No time, and then i lost steam without the peer pressure to finish coming from the blog. :(
Definitely the tunic cocktail dress.
i love the first one! but then again, i love twinkle. this will be my first frock by friday! so excited. www.bellevett.typepad.com
While I love the first link, I don't think I could fit my busoms in there without too much cleavage.
I think the third link would work the best for the most body types. I quite like it!
McCalls view C
#1 or #4
the BURDA tunic/cocktail dress is FABULOUS---and I could alter it to be maternity...so I could participate too (which I really wanted to do last time!)
I had an eye on Love in the afternoon for a while now, so this would be a reason to finally make it... Or maybe the second one, I did one version of it and would love to do a second version of this
