I made these with you guessed it, my Sizzix! I bought a circle die and made all the circles you see in the tutorial in a matter of seconds. Definitely worth it for me.
You could do so many different shades of colors with this circle technique. I might reuse this idea for another day.
1. I used my Sizzix machine to make four sizes of circle, 21 circles per size and material. I used a taffeta, chiffon, and organza.
2. I then sprayed my circles with no fray spray. BUT if I were you I'd wait until after I was finished to do this step. It's a lot easier to work with the circles when they're not as stiff.
3. Separate circles in groups of four by varying material.
4. Fold largest circle in half.
4.Do the same with the other three sizes and layer them on top of each other.
5. Fold in half again.
6. Sew at bottom catching all the layers.
7. Glue clusters together in groups of three.
8. Take those clusters and glue four together for each shoe clip.
9. Cut out a rectangle shaped piece of felt (preferable in the shade shoe clip you are makin. I didn't. have any black or gray on hand) and hot glue to bottom. Glue clip on to felt.
Done.

This is just gorgeous! And I LOVE the insole pattern.
Those shoes are absolutely perfect! I love them. Great job!
I would love to know how you made the insoles! They are adorable.
these look awesome. I really love the tone on tone look. too bad I'd have to cut out all those circles by hand!!
definitely my fav so far!!!
The shoes are so beautiful! And the dress is fantastic. You have such a great style. What dress is that?
I was secretly hoping you would do a tutorial for these clips... These are so beautiful and would also be lovely to embellish a blouse or sweater with. I can't get enough of your blog!
Beautiful! (The insoles and the clips!)
Beautiful shoes! I'm tempted to make these and clip them on my school shoes, since they are technically the right colour. And the insoles are adorable.
aherm.... off to spend the afternoon putting adorable insoles in every pair of shoes I own!! The laundry will still be there tomorrow, right? =)
The clips are so cute! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the dress!! Is that one you made or bought? If you bought it I'd love to know where. I think I want one in about 5 different colors! It's just my style and it's so hard to find dresses that are long enough with sleeves! I'll check back in the comments later in case you have time to reply.
Cute! I'm interested in the insole tutorial. :)
Totally Interested in learning how to make the insoles! They are adorable!
I really love these. I must get a sizzix!

This is darling!
Those shoes are fabulous! And so is that dress!!! Where is it from?? I bet the outfit looks amazing all put together.
Yes please share how to make the insoles! Those are great!
I have enjoyed your Shoe clips. Where do you get the clips for the shoes? Are the clips for shoes only? Anne
Oh those shoe clips are gorgeous! I want to make some of my own RIGHT NOW. But I think I may wait until winter is over and I'm wearing shoes again (it's still boots for at least another couple months).
And the insoles!? Yes please tell us how to make them!
I swear, I'm loving this blog more and more every day. So very inspiring!
definitely my favorite pair so far!!!
I'm totally swayed by insoles. Also by the lining of a coat. Makes no sense.
I LOVE the insoles! If you'd be so kind as to do a step by step for the insoles that would be FANTASTIC! I actually have a pair of boots I bought partially (well, a large part if I'm being honest) because of the amazing teal insole & interior!!
Cheers!
Yes, please, I'm wondering about the insoles, too. What do you do to make sure they're comfortable?
Great job. will link it to my blog :)
