The one thing I sort of lament about quilts is that they are not very plush. Here's a great tutorial to make a quilt with a little 'loft' to it.

Yes, it is beautiful, and it looks so nice and cozy too - just want you want on a chilly winter night.
I bought a puffy-quilted comforter for my daughter's room, from jcpenney. It is so sweet and comfortable! Very plush and cozy. :)
