Just kidding.
I don't think I'm going to see many people sporting these around town anytime soon but I wasn't sure what to title this under. But I still had to post it.
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that this is Swedish made.
With all that being said, that baby is SUPER cute!

Despite the baby being VERY cute...that image is very disturbing. LOL!
the baby version of aliens!
The baby is cute, but that's a little creepy for me - a little too "Alieny"!
I wanna make it just to creep people out!
LOL! What would you think if you saw someone on the street with one of these? Too funny!
Aww I don't think it's that creepy. As long as it's proven safe for baby. We wouldn't need it in Hawaii though, but I would try it if we were in a cold climate because I'm paranoid about my babies being too cold, lol
Does look a little alienish though lol
I think it's a Peekaru babywearing vest, the baby underneath must be in some form of a carrier/ wrap.
It's quite freaky.
Bahhhhaha, that is hilarious! I would freak if I saw someone wearing that. Looks like it would be really hot for the baby. I know my boy would never go for that. He hates hats, and squirms when we're putting his shirts on.
oh that totally cracked me up and gave me a smile that I needed right now :). Too funny! Glad to see I wasn't the only one with the aliens response!
That is hillarious! At least they are probably super cozy.
Oh you just made my day, too funny!
LOL i'm glad i'm not the only one who thought 'alien' when i looked at this! haha
Um, yeah...that's just weird....
i recognize this picture... it comes up if you google image search for "alien baby"... no really, i'm serious!
That is so cute! I can just picture my bubba Joe doing that!
the funny part is that I actually know people who would wear that, (while babywearing of course).
Being swedish I wonder why you're guessing it's swedish-made? I have never seen anything like it here in Sweden.... so maybe it's only made for export ;)
I could see where this would be useful... but maybe there should be more of a neck hole for the baby and then baby could wear a hat... that would maybe make it less odd/ disturbing looking. :)
I don't really understand the Swedish bit either. It looks like a Peekaru, which can be bought in Sweden (here is one place: http://www.mammabarn.se/list_varugrupp.asp?varugrupp=234&t=Peekaru+Original+b%E4rv%E4st) but the inventor and manufacturer is of course from north america: http://www.togetherbe.com/productDescriptionPeekaruOriginal.aspx :-D
Swedish-made? I would've assumed Australian.
I've never seen a Peekaru worn with a front-facing baby, or with the neck hole around his face. It looks a lot more normal when baby is facing mama and you can see his whole head, and they're actually terrific for a walk or shopping with baby when it's cold - you both stay warm. I wouldn't call it trendy, but practical, yes.
