Smartie Pants Denim Valentine's

I've been trying to figure out what kind of Valentines the kids and I will be making for school this year. When I found this 'Smarty Pants' idea via Tip Junkie.

But I think it would even cuter if you sewed the pants out of denim or denim felt. You can still use TipJunkie's pants pattern in her post but instead of using paper, cut it out the fabric. If you don't know how to sew you can buy some sewn felt pants from etsy seller thestockroom here.
