Flats That Don't Leave You Flat Broke

December 9, 2015

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Payless for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
This time of year it seems I have an event to go to every other day. Whether it's a Christmas school concert, a cookie exchange, a holiday show or just a plain ol' birthday party. I like to always look "on fleek" for the occasion;-)

Since I like keeping my appearance fresh, that means finding plenty of styles for plenty of wardrobe changes. Payless helps me find all the looks I need without brusing my bank account.
Case in point these adorable flats. I paired these nude colored flats with this snowy wool circle skirt and white crewneck sweater. I love that there's nothing embellished with these flats. Sometimes the best pairing for an outfit is a simple one. I like to think it's kind of like what they say about makeup. More eyes, less lips/ more lips, less eyes. The same can be said for shoes. These straightforward flats fit the bill just right!
Of course, I'm not the only one needing new shoes this time of year. It seems this is the time when all my kids start to grow out of the their old shoes and need new ones. It's also the time of year when I need the most variety of shoes! Sneakers, dress, boots, they're all essential.
Payless has been a huge saver! Both literally and figuratively. The kids look well dressed and I save money buying four pairs of dress shoes for four kids for less than $15 a piece!

Plus exchanges are so simple. I bought a pair of dress shoes for my oldest daughter Lily. When they arrived they were just a bit too big. So instead of having to box them up and send them back and wait for new ones to arrive I just stopped at one of the many local Payless stores nearby when I was out on another errand and exchanged them for ones that fit her perfectly. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! No wait.
